Family support
Holding families together
We work with families who are navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives — whether that's a child at risk, a family in crisis, or parents who just need someone in their corner. Silah provides professional family support services, early help mentoring, youth guidance, and parenting support for families and young people in the UK. Our safeguarding-led, non-physical approach helps families navigate challenges, build resilience, and create positive outcomes for children and young people.
Our family support workers build genuine, trusted relationships. We don't just signpost — we show up, advocate, and walk alongside families for as long as they need us.
We have a particular focus on children and young people with SEND needs, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld within education, health, and social care systems.

Youth mentoring
Mentoring young people to thrive
Our youth mentoring provides professional guidance for children and young people aged 5 to 18, including those with Social Communication Needs (SCN). We pair young people with a dedicated mentor who understands them and most importantly believes in them — someone who shows up consistently, listens without judgement, and helps them build the skills and confidence to navigate life. Youth Mentoring Includes: 1-to-1 Mentoring Consistent, trusted adult relationships for young people SCN-Adapted Support Specialist approaches for autism, ADHD, and communication needs Skill Development Building confidence, social skills, and positive pathways Family Coordination Working alongside parents and professionals.
We know that young people who are regulated and active are better placed to learn, grow, and stay safe. That's why we weave healthy living into everything we do — from gym sessions and football to chess, rock climbing, park walks, and mindfulness.
We help young people develop real life skills: managing money, cooking, using public transport, understanding their rights, and building healthy relationships. Everything they need to move forward with confidence.
